MUMBAI: Aarya and The Night Manager are popular shows on Disney+ Hotstar. Well, they both are adapted from international series and they have received a great response. Now, one more adapted show is all set to premiere on the OTT platform. We are talking about The Trial.

The Trial is an adaptation of The Good Wife which starrer Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Julianna Margulies, and for the Indian adaptation, the very talented Kajol has been roped in. The trailer of the show has been released and it is very engaging. It revolves around a woman who starts working as a lawyer again after her husband is arrested in a sex scandal.

There are many interesting things that we get to see in the trailer, but the highlight is Kajol. The actress is known for giving some power packed performances and it looks like The Trial will be a new feather in her hat. It marks her OTT series debut and the actress has surely taken up a role that will do justice to her talent. 

Apart from Kajol, one more actor who grabs our attention in the trailer is Sheeba Chaddha. We are sure the audience would look forward to her performance as well. 

The Trial is directed by Suparn Verma who is known for his work in movies and shows like The Family Man, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, Rana Naidu and more.
