While Karsihma is making it to the headlines for her performance in Scoop, let’s look at her journey and how she has come a long way.
Karishma started her career with a small comedy role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She played the role of Indu in the TV show. While in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi she had a small role, she played lead in TV shows like Kahi To Milenge, Kkoi Dil Mein Hai, Baal Veer, Naagin 3, and more.
Not just TV fictional shows, Karishma also participated in reality shows like Bigg Boss 8, Nach Baliye 7, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. In fact, she was the winner of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.
In 2005, she made her Hindi film debut with a supporting role in the film Dosti. But, she was seen as one of the leads in Grand Masti. After Grand Masti, she wasn’t seen in a any big film and directly did an extended cameo in Sanju.
While many TV and Hindi film actors are coming on OTT now, Karishma actually made her OTT debut with Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat in 2018. Well, just like TV and movies, on OTT also she started with a supporting role.
But now, Karishma has surely left a strong mark with her performance in Hush Hush and Scoop. We can expect that from now onwards we will get to see her in more strong roles.
