During the Round Table, while talking about playing multi-layered characters on OTT, Naveen said, “Many more stories are being made, and people have started showing more realistic stories, and when real characters are shown there will be flaws. Like in Breathe (season 3), in the starting you feel that my character is wrong but by the end you start liking it. Also, I would say that Naveen Bansal (Pitchers) is one of the greyest characters. In last season, he was like a god, but by the end of season two he is a very unlikable person. I feel as there are different types of stories being made, so the characters are becoming realistic.”

He further added, “On the big screen earlier it used to be like if your character has an ambition then that was supposed to be wrong. If you are not sacrificing your whole life for others then you are a bad person. But, in real life it’s not like that. There was a time when if you are rich you are bad; Mr. Oberoi and Mr. Singhania were always wrong. It’s not like in movies now they don’t have it like that but it happens less.”
