MUMBAI: The Zoom Studios is coming up with its next original titled Happily Ever After. The project will mark the web debut of director Navjot Gulati.
Happily Ever After casts Naveen Kasturia and Harshita Gaur in lead roles. The entertaining drama series brings the hitches and glitches that millennial couples face as they plan their dream wedding.
Continuing with its promise to offer relatable stories that are brought to life with strong narratives and power packed performances, The Zoom Studios’ latest offering, ‘Happily Ever After’ marks the web debut of Jai Mummy Di director, Navjot Gulati. Talking about the series, director Navjot Gulati says, “It’s my first venture on digital and I am very excited to kick-start this new journey with The Zoom Studios. ‘Happily Ever After’ is a situational comedy-drama that is sprinkled with moments that are bound to resonate with the millennials. The show captures the anatomy of a modern millennial relationship and explores the reality of modern day ‘wedding goals’. I am quite eager to see the audience’s reactions to the show.”
The Zoom Studios has roped in digital sensation, Naveen Kasturia, in a lead role for the show. Known for getting into the skin of the characters that he plays, Naveen was appreciated for his stellar performances in shows like Pitchers, Bose: Dead/Alive and Thinkistan.
Paired opposite Naveen on the show is Harshita Gaur, a popular face in web series space. The actress, who rose to fame with the TV show, Sadda Haq, made heads turn and won millions of hearts with shows like Mirzapur, Sacred Games and Puncch Beat.
With comedy as the primary narrative, Happily Ever After promises to portray key aspects of weddings beyond its virtual reality of all things bright and beautiful.
