MUMBAI: The series continues its tradition of casting formidable talent to face off against Manoj Bajpayee's Srikant Tiwari. And in season three, Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur have proven to be exceptional additions, embodying the complexity and menace required to elevate the stakes. Nimrat Kaur, in particular, has captivated the audience with her portrayal of a powerful, self-assured character who operates ruthlessly in a male-dominated sphere.
Nimrat's character has quickly become a fan favourite, celebrated for her authority, intelligence, and unwavering presence. It is the character's sheer confidence and ability to command power that resonates so deeply with viewers, a quality Nimrat herself found empowering yet contrasting with her own reality.
Speaking about the intriguing dynamic of playing such a role, she noted the fascinating paradox of the character's creation, “I think it's fascinating that the writer's room is all men. We are meeting a woman in a man's world who's running a show like a man and is written by men. You know, I find that fascinating and it is so empowering to take that position and then fly with it and then look at your own self. And many times I used to actually think about my own self and I used to be like you know it would be kind of cool to be this self assured about so many situations which otherwise I would just you know be under a quilt about.”
Nimrat acknowledged the gap between the character's self-assuredness and her own personal life, underscoring the liberating nature of her profession, “It is so interesting that what I'm trying to sell as an idea or as a character on screen, I'm not sure if I can pull it off in real life. I really don't know if I have it in me with my conditioning, my upbringing, all of that. This is the freedom of being an actor.”
With Raj & DK’s unmatched talent for blending high-octane action with the comedic, relatable chaos of a middle-class life, The Family Man 3 is more than just another chapter in this spy thriller. It’s a cultural event. The combination of a high-stakes mission in the North-East, the return of fan-favourite actors like Sharib Hashmi (JK), Priyamani (Suchitra), and the new formidable challenges posed by Rukma means the new season is poised to be an unmissable spectacle. Season three brings Srikant Tiwari's latest, and perhaps toughest, balancing act between nation and family, streaming globally on Prime Video.
