MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor is coming up with a reality show titled “Lock Upp,” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail and they would have to play the game and fight for getting bail to survive on the show.
Kangana Ranaut will be making her OTT debut with the show. The actress will be guiding the participants.
‘Lock Upp’ promises to be an engaging captive reality show with all the ingredients that will keep you glued to your seat. A daring celebrity host, compelling tasks, dramatic fights, and an exciting mix of contestants who will do anything & everything to survive in the show’s jail is the perfect amalgamation of entertainment.
To elevate their game, Karan Kundrra, the jailor, has entered the house to assign tasks to the inmates, but not in the Lock Upp house. The show also saw the entry of wild card, Ali Merchant, and how that has changed equations in the house a little bit.
Last weekend Payal Rohatgi got into a tiff with the Host Kangana Ranaut herself, on feeling not satisfied with the bashing she had gotten and her anger over Karanvir Bohra, She went on a rant to the camera and said some things that could get her to trouble.
In the upcoming track, Anjali and Nisha get into a massive fight, over Kitchen duties. What started as a minor disagreement leads to a very big fight over duties and over the way Anjali spoke to Nisha, the whole jail will get divided.
The show is rumored to bring in new wild cards and the speculated contestants are Rashmi Desai and Jasmin Bhasin, Nothing is confirmed yet.
