Jitendra Kumar played the title role in both seasons. He is presently basking in the glory of Panchayat 2's success.

Talking about the storyline of Panchayat 2, it digs deeper into the lives of Phulera locals with some incredible dialogues by Jitu Bhaiya, secretary of Phulera Panchayat and the rest of the cast. While Panchayat 2 is one of the hit shows on OTT right this moment, the credit for its success goes to the brilliant cast and vision of the maker. Each and every character in Panchayat 2 - Neena Gupta as Manju Devi, Raghuvir Yadav as Brij Bhushan Dubey, Chandan Roy as Vikas, Faisal Malik as Prahalad Pandey or Biswajit Sarkar as Pradeep, including others have won the heart of the audience.

Jitendra Kumar played the role of Abhishek Tripathi and his portrayal of the character is relatable and heartwarming. For Panchayat 2, the actor has charged a fee of Rs 50,000, per episode. The total amount he took home for 8 episodes is Rs 4 lakh, per Zee News.

Previously, Jitendra Kumar acted in films like Gone Kesh, Chaman Bahaar, Jaadugar. In his last movie Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Kumar as Aman Tripathi fully commits to his character, impressing everyone.
