Citadel - Honey Bunny: Varun Dhawan opens up on Samantha Ruth Prabhu's scary disease while shooting the series

Citadel - Honey Bunny is a new web - series that will stream on Amazon from the 7th of November. Now during a press conference Varun spoke about Samantha's scary disease and how he inspired her during the shoot of this movie.

MUMBAI: Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are both incredibly talented actors, and their involvement in the series 'Citadel' will surely bring a lot of energy and charisma to the screen.

The fans are super excited to see them together as this would be the first time they would be working together.

The teaser for 'Honey Bunny' was out today and it's packed with action and intrigue, setting the stage for a gripping storyline.

That sounds intense! The blend of action and romance, with a dramatic twist at the end, surely makes for an engaging teaser.

Today, the press conference of the show took place where the actors and the makers of the show announced the release date of the show.

The series is all ready to stream on the 7th of November and the actors have wrapped up the shoot of the show.

A few months back the actress had revealed she had been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis and she had taken a break from the movies to concentrate on her health.

During the press conference the Varun Dhawan spoke about Samantha's scary disease where he said ' My preparation for the action wasn't that tough as compared to Samantha as it is in public to what she was batting when she got on the show. I would feel like Raj and DK are making me do these stunts but the work ethethis that Samantha had with the condition she was battling really inspired me.

She further said  'We became partners during the whole training and this was the first time that I saw my co - actor go through something so tough while filming and you learn so much about human beings especially when they are battling something from within and she inspired the whole crew and cast and how she has finished an action show is commendable'

To which Samantha says ' I should have worn glasses as now I would breakdown'

Well, it's definitely commendable that the actress shot a full fledged action series during this tough time.
