MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's reality show titled “Lock Upp,” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail, play the game, and fight for getting bail to survive, was launched on MX Player and Alt Balaji. 

The audience has given it a thumbs-up. 

Kangana Ranaut will be making her OTT debut with the show as the host where she will be guiding the contestants. 

The entire concept is a setup in jail. Sara Khan has been a part of it since the show started, and she has been the favourite of the audiences. 

But then a few days back, she was suddenly evicted from the show, and her fans were disheartened.

Post her eviction, TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her about how she managed to be in the same show as Ali and who is the mastermind of the game. 

Your game was going on well, but once someone (Ali Merchant) entered the show, it dropped. What was the reason for that? 

Actually, what happened is that unknowingly, 12 years have passed by, and our names have been attached. I was tolerating everything. I had to put a stop to it as I couldn’t take it anymore. I was so not comfortable saying something that was wrong to prove myself right. He showed everyone what he is. I didn’t want my name to get attached with his and played the game my way. 

You spoke about the troubles that you have faced. How difficult was that for you? 

I wanted to reveal the things that I went through in the courtship of one year in a very dignified manner. I did not want to put anyone down and say things that I regret later. I was speaking the truth and didn’t want to say anything to get footage. 

If not you, who do you think should have been evicted from the show?

I do not want to tell that person’s name, but I am sure that indirectly, everyone knows whom I am talking about. 

Who, according to you is the mastermind of the game? 

Undoubtedly, it is Munawar Faruqui. He is an amazing player and he knows how to play the game so well. He knows how to deal with the situation, and no one can understand the game better than him. At times, we would forget that there are cameras around, but he would remember everything. He is simply awesome. 

Well, no doubt that Sara was a good player, but unfortunately, she was evicted.
