MUMBAI: Sherleen Dutt’s new series, Koi Jaye Toh Le Aaye, is streaming on Atrangii. She said, “I'm incredibly excited! Koi Jaye Toh Le Aaye has always been special to me, and bringing it back as a web series is like revisiting an old friend but with a fresh perspective. I can't wait for everyone to experience this thrilling ride.”
She plays Mansi, a character with dark shades and a mysterious aura. “She’s a key player in this murder mystery, full of twists, revenge, and suspense. Mansi is unpredictable, and that made playing her an exciting challenge,” she said.
Sherleen shared that the USP of the series is its gripping narrative. She said, “It is a full-fledged murder mystery, packed with suspense and layers of revenge. Every episode will leave you guessing and on the edge of your seat.”
“It’s not just about solving a murder; it’s about uncovering the intricate web of lies, deceit, and hidden agendas. Mansi, my character, is at the heart of this intrigue, making the journey even more thrilling,” she added.
For Sherleen, every role is unique, and she likes to immerse herself fully into the character's world. She said, “For Mansi, I delved into understanding her motives, her fears, and what drives her to make the choices she makes. I also worked closely with the director to ensure Mansi's complexity was portrayed authentically. I believe in exploring the character's psyche deeply, which helps me bring out the nuances in my performance.”
The OTT space is thriving, and so is the competition in that space. She said, “The OTT space is booming, and it's amazing to see such a variety of content available at our fingertips. It’s a challenge, yes, but it’s also an opportunity for actors like me to explore diverse roles and reach a wider audience. Healthy competition pushes everyone to raise the bar, and as an artist, that's something I truly appreciate.”
