MUMBAI : Manini De recently shot for a short film titled Pravaah - The Flow. The film also stars Sharad Malhotra in the leading role.
The film is about a nature photographer Shivoham, bohemian in nature, whose life’s purpose is to just travel across the world. Explore and capture wonderful, breathtaking creations of nature, according to his unique perspective. He will have an experience that will lead him to getting to terms with his real self.

In an exclusive interview with Manini, she shared her experience shooting for the show and how she finds Sharad as her co-actor.
Manini shared, “I feel that for a creative person any script which is content driven is fun. I am a soul driven person and I can understand which person I can connect with. So when this concept came to me, I was excited as I could relate to it.
The concept of the film is about flowing with the tide and it is beautiful. It is also about soulmates and twin soulmates. There are also some connections which might not lead to a marriage but them being in a connection is a beautiful thing in itself.”
Shedding light over her bond with Sharad, she said, “ Sharad and I met on the sets of a webseries but there we did not have a scene together. I have found Sharad as a very sensible performer. He is also very warm and when we worked together it was a jolly good time. Infact, I am on Pravaah - The Flow because of Sharad as he recommended my name.
Simar is our director, producer and writer. I had a meeting with her on all three levels. She is a fantastic producer, director and a very creative writer. She sits with her actors and takes their feedback. The way she looked after us is commendable. The weather conditions where we were shooting were challenging but she really took very good care of us.”
