MUMBAI: The Night Manager has been creating a lot of buzz for the storyline and amazing performances. Its stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala and Tillotama Shome in the lead. The second season too has become popular among the viewers and they cannot get over the thrilling feel of the whole series.
Now, Tillotama Shome, who was also seen in Lust Stories 2 recently, has spoken about the excitement of working with veteran actor Anil Kapoor for the first time. She has narrated a strange and funny incident that took place while they were shooting for the OTT series during their team's appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Tillotama said, “I once went to the set to observe Anil Kapoor‘s scene and experience the feeling of working with him for the first time. I wanted to sense the atmosphere. He saw me observing the scene and asked me about my feedback on the scene. What could I possibly say to such an experienced actor? I told him it was a nice scene.”
The Qissa actress further said, “Once again he asked for my thoughts. So, I disappeared from there, and went to my room. While returning downstairs, he asked me yet again for my thoughts on the scene, and I realised I had to say something. I was extremely nervous.”
Tillotama further added, “What kind of feedback do you give to someone who has been entertaining us for decades? I have always admired him for his charismatic personality and his body of work.”
The Night Manager currently streams on Disney+Hotstar.
