MUMBAI: SonyLIV's web series Rocket Boys, which has Ishwak Singh, Jim Sarbh, Regina Cassandra, Rajit Kapoor, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Saba Azad, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Namit Das, and K.C. Shankar has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. Its content is based on an untouched section of history: the lives of Dr. Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai . The roles are played by Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh respectively.

The show is finally out, and here is the complete review of Rocket Boys.

Talking about the storyline, it is an extended version of what we saw in the trailer. It throws light on the personal and professional lives of Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai, among the greatest minds of India who have contributed immensely to the field of science. The challenges and ups and downs faced by these two scholars in their field is something amazingly shown in the show.

The screenplay appears a little slow in between, but there are several points that manage to give you goosebumps. The direction by Abhay Pannu is brilliant.

Talking about the performances of the cast, Jim Sarbh as Homi Bhabha and Ishwak Singh as Vikram Sarabhai are a treat to watch. The actors portray these iconic personalities well. On the other hand, Saba Azad, Regina Cassandra, like Rajit Kapoor, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Namit Das, and K.C. Shankar deliver goox performances.

Talking about the positive points of the web series, no doubt it has to be the untouched subject from the history of India, which we witness for the first time on screen. The storyline manages to draw your attention right from the very first scene and is brilliant. We cannot deny some of the superb performances, like those of Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh. The screen presence of Missile Man APJ Abdul Kalam will definitely give you goosebumps.

Talking about the negative points of the show, it has to be the screenplay, which dips several times and makes the series a little slow. But the strong performances manage to hold your attention.

Rocket Boys is a well-made shows on Sony LIV and celebrates many chapters of victory in the field of science
