MUMBAI : After teasing fans with numerous BTS pictures, posters and first looks, the makers of Sadak 2 have finally released the trailer of the much-anticipated film. Starring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, and Aditya Roy Kapur, the film is a sequel to Sanjay and Pooja Bhatt led Sadak (1991). Just a couple of weeks back, Disney+Hotstar announced the arrival of fresh content to stream on the OTT platform. Right from Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb to Alia Bhatt’s Sadak 2 and Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj: The Pride Of India, there will be no limit to the entertainment of new releases every month.

A while back, the sequel to Sadak, Sadak 2's trailer was unveiled and it will keep you hooked. Sadak 2 marks the return of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt to direction after almost two decades and also the first collaboration with daughter Alia Bhatt. The three-minute long trailer opens with the 1991 film Sadak with Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt and later changes its focus on Alia Bhatt and her lovey-dovey trip with Aditya Roy Kapur filed with revenge and thrill.
While there is no appearance of Pooja Bhatt, but after seeing Sanjay Dutt’s love for his deceased lover (Pooja Bhatt), Alia Bhatt introduces him to Aditya Roy Kapur. The trailer takes a U-turn and looks intriguing when the antagonist – Makarand Deshpande (who has slipped in the role of Sadashiv Amrapurkar)– is introduced and the revenge begins.
