MUMBAI: Amit Sadh starrer Avrodh: The Siege Within that premiered on the platform on 31st July has praises pouring in from far and wide. After garnering acclaim from critics and the audience alike for its superlative performances and an authentic depiction of India’s Surgical Strike, the original has found a fan in renowned sand artist, Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik. The globally reputed artist from Orissa has created a special sand art on Avrodh to pay a heartfelt tribute to our armed forces. The well curated sand art brings to life the lead characters from the show in a mark of respect to the resilience and heroism of the Indian Army.

Sudarsan Pattnaik recently took to his social media to share the picture of this sand art with a heartfelt message. Avrodh, produced for Applause Entertainment by Irada Entertainment, is a gritty and realistic account of India's surgical strike, based on a chapter from Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book, India’s Most Fearless. Avrodh depicts the story of how the Indian Armed Forces displayed inimitable courage and operational precision in one of the country’s landmark missions. Directed by Raj Acharya and with Samar Khan as the Show Runner, the show has an ensemble cast of very talented actors including Amit Sadh, Neeraj Kabi, Vikram Gokhale, Darshan Kumar, Madhurima Tuli, Anant Mahadevan, Pavail Gulati, Mohit Chauhan, Arif Zakaria. The show has been written by Harmanjit Singha, Sudeep Nigam, Abhishek Chatterjee and Aadhar Khurana.
