MUMBAI: Due to the pandemic situation, the theatres have been shut for more than three months now. The audiences are looking to OTT platforms as a source of entertainment. During the lockdown, different OTT platforms have come up with various types of content for viewers.
As we know, Vidya Balan’s much awaited movie Shakuntala Devi, which was supposed to hit the theatres, will now directly go for an OTT release. The movie speaks about the countless achievements and the never-before-seen journey of charming mathematician Shakuntala Devi, played by Vidya Balan. Amazon Prime Video today revealed the motion poster of much-awaited biographical drama Shakuntala Devi.

Shakuntala Devi is faster than a calculator and a human-computer. The motion poster revealed that the trailer of the film will drop on 15th July. Shakuntala Devi has been directed by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment).
Shakuntala Devi is all set for its digital premier on July 31st on Amazon Prime.
