MUMBAI : As the year is coming closer to its end, the bar of entertainment is only going higher and to contribute to this rising flow of entertainment, Director Neeraj Pandey brought to screen an amazing suspense movie Sikandar ka Muqaddar starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Avinash Tiwary, Jimmy Shergill and Rajeev Mehta. The movie has a signature ‘Neeraj Pandey’ element of surprise and the best part is that the movie is getting amazing response from all over the globe, be it for the performances, the story or the screenplay. Every actor in the movie has contributed essentially to the story of the movie.
One of the important characters in the movie is Ashrut Jain who played the character of Avinash Tiwary’s friend, one who is always present to help Avinash’s character Sikandar. His character was praised for his performance and the role he played.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakar, Ashrut Jain opened up about the experience of shooting with the cast and the response for the movie.
When asked about response for the movie, Ashrut Jain said, “Movie has been released internationally and is even dubbed in Spanish so it is going across the world and it is trending globally in top 5 in non-English films and it has been like that since a week. The movie has got the reach plus the director (Neeraj Pandey) has got a huge brand value about thrillers. So there is a very loyal audience to Neeraj sir so you know people watch his work and really like his direction. So the kind of team that has worked in is really important because there is a fan-following not just for Jimmy sir, not just for Avinash, not just for Tamannaah but there is a huge fan-following for Neeraj sir. So usme 1 + 1 11 ho raha hai. Synergy ho rahi hai. Toh bohot viewership aa rahi hai film ki.”
When talking about his experience working with the cast, the actor said, “I always believe that a good actor woh humesha apne co-actors ki performance ko badhate hai, unhe appreciate kar ke. That is a quality that they have, even Jimmy sir. They always support you a lot, they appreciate your performance. They always indulge in a lot of discussions before the shot toh aap itne comfortable ho jate ho and even before the shoot we have rehearsals toh we have a friendly zone. Toh ek mahaan actor ki quality hoti hai ki woh apne co-actors ko badhaye, uski performance ko enhance kare, usko appreciate kare toh.” Adding to this, he said, “Jimmy sir is an encyclopedia of acting and he has really grown right from his Mohabbatein days till now and he has a great arc of career.”
