MUMBAI : Smriti Kalra started her acting journey with TV shows and she has surely come a long way. She has been a part of shows like 12/24 Karol Bagh, Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year, and Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara. The actress will next be seen in Satish Kaushik’s Kaagaz 2 which also stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, and Darshan Kumaar in the lead roles.

You haven’t been a part of reality shows. So, did you consciously keep yourself away from it?
Yes, I have consciously stayed away from reality shows. But, I have got offers. Khatron Ke Khiladi is still something I am eyeing, but I have a severe back problem, however, that’s okay. But, apart from that yes consciously I have stayed away from reality shows. Yes, I would love to do Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as I love to dance.

Smriti reveals why she isn’t keen to do reality shows…
Reality shows have so much drama, and if that’s not there I would love to do reality shows. I would like to host a reality show.
Tell us something about your upcoming projects
In January 2023, I will be shooting for something very different with a fabulous actor. I cannot speak a lot about it, but it will be my first OTT project, that's all I can say.
