MUMBAI: After the successful run of the first season of Sunflower, the makers are back with season 2. Sunflower season 2 is considered one of the most awaited shows of all time and this was because of the love season 1 had got and because of the hype created by it. The season directed by Vikas Bahl has great names like Sunil Grover, Adah Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Mukul Chadda, Ashish Vidyarthi. The season 2 has finally hit the ott platform Zee5 and it has all the elements that are required for a gripping tale of murder mystery with the backdrop of comedy.

The series continues from where the season 1 was ended the police has arrived to capture Sonu played by Sunil in the connection of murder of a flatmate Raj Kapoor, well now this season has more connection with the deceased and how these new lot of people are directly or indirectly connected with the deceased Raj Kapoor is shown in the series with the name of the murderer and the motive.

The screenplay of the series is beautifully written and it definitely holds your attention from the first till the last scene, the direction coming from Vikas Bahl is brilliant, also there are many twists and turns which definitely adds value to the entire series and makes it a special one.

Talking about the performances indeed you will see your favourite actor Sunil Grover as Sonu and going to fall in love with him all over again, there are few elements added to the character and there few cute moments with the character which makes him stoical, on the other hand new entry Adah Sharma indeed brings a lot of factors to the new season, you will definitely love her character of Rosie and the actress surely manages to grab your attention in terms of her cuteness and her intensity, actors Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Mukul Chadda, Ashish Vidyarthi on the other hand has few plus points and they had added value to the overall project.

The plus points of the series has to the execution bridging which is brilliant and unique in itself, the series deals with different intense angel including murder and romance, the twists and turns in the season 2 definitely makes the series a must watch, and every episode has the USP that it offers a new set of thrills and new situation which will make you jump to the new episode right away. Also the performance coming from every actor is a treat to watch especially actor Sunil Grover, indeed the character Sonu is another feather on the cap of the actor you will definitely fall in love with the actor all over again, also actress Adah Sharma surely brings the element of laughter and cuteness with lot of twists, actress Adah Shama is indeed one highpoint for the series, the fun banter between Ranvir Shorey and Girish Kulkarni uis surely usp of the season 2. The strong BGM especially the title BGM adds value to the series and in crafting the suspense, it surely enhances your series viewing experience. Also the climax of the series is one highpoint of the series when everything is opened and the series is left with conclusion, the climax will surely make your jaws drop and you may have tears in your eyes.

Indeed the series Sunflower 2 is one of the best thrillers you may have seen in the recent past and it surely takes you on a rollercoaster ride of laughter and thrill.
