MUMBAI: Amazon Prime has announced the second season of Unpaused as Naya Safar. It will be released on 21 January 2022 and will premiere globally in 240 countries and territories. This season will have five different stories that will be based on the Covid 19 pandemic. The story will show how the pandemic has affected our normal life, changed us, and made us respect life and emotions more than ever before.

The season features the actors Saqib Saleem, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Neena Kulkarni, and Priyanshu Painyuli, among others. It will be produced by Early Man film, Pink Window Productions, Chalkboard Entertainment, and Three Film Company.
The short films in the anthology include the following.
The first story, Teen Tigada will be directed by Ruchir Arun. It will star Saqib Saleem, Ashish Verma, and Sam Mohan.
The second story, The Couple is shot by Nupur Asthana and will see Shreya Dhanwanthary and Priyanshu Painyuli in pivotal roles.
The third story is named Gond Ke Laddu, which is directed by Shikha Makan. The lead cast of this story will be Neena Kulkarni, Darshana Rajendran, and Lakshvir Singh Saran.
The fourth story is directed by Ayappa KM and is titled War Room. It stars Geetanjali Kulkarni, Rasika Agashe, Purnanand Wandhekar, and Sharvari Deshpande.
The last story is Vaikunth, which is helmed by Nagraj Manjule. It stars Arjun Karche and Hanumant Bhandari.
