MUMBAI: Ever since the teaser and the trailer of the movie “The Wife” was out, the movie became the talk of the fans, and they are eagerly waiting for the movie, indeed the trailer hit the right chord of horror and is getting much love from the fans all over, the movie stars, Gurmeet Choudhary and Sayani Dutta in lead role and is directed by Sarmad Khan.
The story revolves around a married couple who shifts to their new house, with passing days the house shows some mysterious and horrifying events which disturbs the couple’s life, what is the mystery behind this ghost, and how the couple fight with it is something interesting to see.
The screenplay of this 106 minutes movie is decent, and it manages to hold your attention throughout, the direction is also decent of the movie.
Talking about the performances, special mention to the leading man of the show, Gurmeet Choudhary who shines in the movie by every passing phase, on the other hand, actress Sayani Dutta was decent on her part.
The BGM of the movie is very well crafted and it does enhance you viewing experience, also there are few horror moments in the movie which will scare you.

The positive points of the movie as mentioned is the performance delivered by actor Gurmeet Choudhary we get to see different shades of the actor in the movie, also the movie has some thrilling moments which will keep you hooked and booked to your seat.
The negative point of the movie can be the screenplay at the first 40 minutes which may make you feel a little bore, because few scenes may look repetitive and makes the movie lilted dragged.
Overall the movie “The Wife” is a decent watch and can be at your watchlist, if you are horror movie fan, this one is for you.
