These Fukrey actors are all set for their OTT debut

MUMBAI: Fukrey boys Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh, whom we have loved so much in both parts of the movie, are now all set for their digital debut. Yes, you heard it right. Choocha and Lali from the movie will now come to your digital screens to make you laugh.

Their pair was loved by the audience in the movie and their character names became famous overnight. “Choocha,” the character of Varun Sharma, was loved a lot.

As per sources, the series will be made by Dinesh Vijan under his banner of Maddock Films and the series will be titled as “Chutzpah” and it will premiere on Sony Liv.

The show is said to be a cybercrime drama set in comic space and will have five interconnected stories. Fukrey actors Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh have been roped in to play the leads while the casting for other prominent characters is believed to be still underway. Kritika Kamra is rumoured to have been approached for the female lead but she hasn't signed on the dotted line as yet, sources have learned.
