Set to release on July 19, this compelling drama is directed by Mukesh Prajapathi and produced by Prashanti Malisetti of Pixel Pictures Pvt Ltd. Bahishkarana features a stellar cast including Anjali, Ravindra Vijay, Ananya Nagalla, Shritej, Shanmukh, Mahboob Basha, and Chaitanya Sagiraju. It is a tale of transformation and destiny, following a courtesan's profound journey to discover true happiness.
Set in the evocative backdrop of 1990s rural Guntur, Bahishkarana follows the profound journey of Pushpa, played by Anjali, a courtesan who faces unexpected responsibilities that challenge her to redefine her sense of self. As she keeps her secrets close and finds strength within, she navigates unexpected responsibilities, hidden secrets, and a path to her true self and happiness.
Anjali, the lead actor, shared her thoughts on her character and said, "Being a part of 'Bahishkarana' has been a truly transformative experience for me. The character of Pushpa is incredibly complex and layered, and bringing her to life on screen has been both challenging and rewarding.
