MUMBAI: Amazon Prime Video just dropped in a new RED BAND trailer for its upcoming original series Utopia. Based on the 2013 British TV show of the same name, this new version of Utopia has been adapted by Gillian Flynn for Amazon Prime Video.
Coming from the makers of Gone Girl and Sharp Objects, we couldn’t expect any less and the trailer seems to deliver just that. Utopia is an eight part conspiracy thriller series that follows a group of young adults who are tasked with a dangerous task to save the world. With a whole lot of violence going on the trailer isn’t recommended for kids.
The trailer begins with a parking lot scene where two mysterious boys appear with guns looking for Utopia, but there comes Jessica Hyde (Sasha Lane) for rescue. She further informs that the people she killed come looking for people who have seen Utopia, an underground graphic novel that can predict real life epidemics.

The trailer goes on to show how this “rag-tag crew of underdogs” take on a high-stake adventurous journey to save the world and humanity from the ultimate conspiracy, while still being on the target list of a mysterious organisation. Will they be able to do so?
The cast members of Utopia include Rainn Wilson, Sasha Lane, Cory Michael Smith, John Cusack, Dan Byrd, Desmin Borges and Jessica Roth. Huey M. Park and Robin Sweet are the producers for the series.
Catch Utopia on Amazon Prime Video, premiering on 25th September, 2020.
