Ullu App launches Ullu Music channel, aims at giving opportunities to outsiders

MUMBAI : Creating interesting content for everyone has always been the priority for popular online streaming platform ULLU. As one of the fastest growing OTT platform, ULLU has mastered the art of creating wholesome content for viewers. Adding another feather to their hat, ULLU app has launched ULLU Music Channel. What makes it so different from others is its focus on giving opportunities to budding singers, song writers and musicians who might not have settled contacts in the music industry, to present their work.

The song list in Ullu Music are the ones which are already in their web series. Since they have the IPRS, a separate platform is created for our viewers who want to experience soulful music.

While nepotism is a problem deeply embedded in the film industry, ULLU is all set to break those barriers by being an accessible platform to those who have talent. Their USP will be being easily approachable and available to every talented musician who doesn't have the required resources or a big music label to back them up.

The team of UllU has an interesting and innovative way of merging fresh talent. For those who have their song recorded but are unable to shoot or execute the video, will be given a different kind of opportunity. The team will pull out the video of one of their original songs and match it with the talent's music.

Talking about the same, Vibhu Agarawal, CEO, ULLU, says, "I have always believed that talent deserves the right chance irrespective of any connections in the industry or not. Ullu Music has been launched keeping in mind to give equal opportunities to all the talented musicians out there. While we will support independent music, we will at the same time also give deserving chance to them to give music to our shows which stream on ULLU App."

Ullu app has recently released a string of entertainers for their audience.  To its credit, the app has gained immense popularity from viewers with demand increasing multifold especially during the National lockdown.  The shows have a constant appearance in the BARC ratings.

The popularity of the OTT  platform is not limited to just India. It has received phenomenal response from overseas as well. The rise has been such, that ULLU app is in talks with tie ups in 18 countries and is moving its base from Uttar Pradesh to Lucknow.

Some of their shows such as Sunny Winters, Size Matters, Khul Ja Sim Sim, Kavita Bhabhi and more recently released Prabha Ki Diary is being loved by viewers across all age groups.
