MUMBAI : Diwakar Kumar was recently seen in Vadh in which he got a chance to play Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta’s son. While it was a small role, Diwakar left a mark with his performance in it. Before Vadh, DIwakar was seen in Naseeruddin Shah starrer Irada. 

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Diwaka and spoke to him about the directors he wants to work with, upcoming projects, and more…

You are relatively a newcomer in the industry. So, do you have a list of directors and actors you want to work with?

My favorites are Zoya Akhtar and Meghna Gulzar. I have been in contact with Zoya Akhtar, I am texting her for a few days to play a character in her film. I am hoping that I will get a chance to work with her. And when it comes to actors I want to work with Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor.

What kind of roles are you looking forward to?

Right now, I am open to everything. I will do any character that challenges me as an actor and which is different from my real life, something like I have done in Vadh. So, I am looking for challenging characters.

Tell us something about your upcoming projects…

I will start shooting for a web series in January. But, I cannot disclose anything about it. Also, I am in talks for other projects, so let’s see what happens.
