MUMBAI: Actor Vishal Vashishtha has been grabbing the attention of the fans over the time with his contribution over television. The actor is now all set to be seen in the upcoming series for Hotstar titled Showtime. The series has some amazing names like Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, and Vijay Raaz.

During the Exclusive interaction with Tellychakkar actor Vishal Vashishtha spoke in detail about his series Showtime and also on what made him say yes for the show

Vishal Vashishtha says that he will be seen playing the character of Prithvi who is the writer. This character is very much focused on his writing. He is very strong and very much focused on himself. He comes from a very down to earth and humble family background and the fans will see the collaboration of this writer with actress Mahima Makwana.

Vishal Vashishtha on what made him say yes to the series

Vishal Vashishtha adds, honestly it was the brand name Dharmatic which drew his attention and later he just loved the character and the impact of the character in the overall series. He just loved the collaboration of Dharmatic and Hotstar and also the powerful script, so there was no reason to say no to the series.

Vishal Vashishtha on his shooting experience and bonding

Vishal Vashishtha says he has been watching the actor Emran Hashmi since his childhood and said whenever the actor is onset it is a different scenario. The actor was very easy to gel with and he shared his own sweet moments with the actor. Vishal added he had his fun moments with Mahima Makwana and others, on the other hand when Naseeruddin Shah entered on the set, it was a different atmosphere on the set because it was the great aura of the legendary actor which comes along with him and it is a treat to watch him performing his craft.

Indeed the trailer of the series Showtime is already getting a lot of love from the fans and audience and we are really looking forward to seeing what the makers have to offer with the series.
