MUMBAI: Actors Niti Taylor and Parth Samthaan have ruled the hearts of young TV viewers for quite a while. Ever since they appeared together on Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan back in 2014, in fact! The MTV show was a smash hit 9 years ago, and to this date, it manages to pull in viewers to Voot whenever a new season releases.
Niti and Parth played sweet, innocent Nandini and bad-boy Manik, respectively, on the show, winning hearts with their crackling chemistry. The original MTV show was such a hit that the makers continued to make short seasons on Voot to continue their epic love story.
Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan Season 4 saw Niti and Parth reprise their roles in December 2022. But have you been wondering what they’ve been up to since KYY Season 4 ended? Well, we certainly have! So we did some social media stalking (yes, we did.) and we’ve got the deets.
As everyone already knows, Niti Taylor is currently playing Prachi Kapoor on Bade Achchhe Lagte Hain 2 (Ram and Priya’s daughter), since the show took a 20-year leap. Despite the viewer apprehension when Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar exited the show, BALH 2 has managed to retain viewership and audience interest in the story.
Apart from shooting for BALH 2, Niti has been promoting different brands on her social media. These brands include online casino and sports betting site Fairplay, Simple Skincare India, and Quaker Oats. She also participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10 (reaching the semi-finals) last year.
Parth Samthaan, on the other hand, is gearing up for his big Bollywood debut with the romantic comedy film Ghudchadi directed by Binoy Gandhi. Shooting wrapped up earlier this year for this film and it’s now in post production. Parth will be sharing the big screen opposite Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in Ghudchadi.
Apart from a few shoots here and there (and a couple of music videos), Parth doesn’t seem to have done many projects after KYY Season 4 ended. But we hope his Bollywood debut goes well and wish him good luck!
While Nandini and Manik’s story seemed to have wrapped up neatly in KYY 4, we certainly cannot get enough of their chemistry and would want to see them on our screens again. So here’s hoping for a season 5 of Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan!
