MUMBAI : Sushmita Sen has been ruling OTT with her series Aarya. The actress for her performance in the show has won multiple awards as well. Now, Sushmita is all set for her next series titled Taali. The series is based on the life of transgender Shreegauri Sawant.
Taali’s first look was released a few months ago, and today, the teaser of the series has been released. Sushmita took to Instagram to share the teaser with her fans and wrote, “Gaali se Taali tak ke safar ki yeh kahaani. Presenting the story of Shreegauri Sawant’s fight for India’s third gender. #TaaliOnJioCinema streaming free 15 Aug. @officialjiocinema @shreegaurisawant.”

The teaser of the series is very interesting and Sushmita Sen surely steals the show with her fantastic performance in it. When Taali was announced, there was a lot of debate about why a transgender actor has not been cast in the show. However, it looks like Sen is all set to shut everyone’s mouth with her performance in the series.
Taali is created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar, and it is directed by Ravi Jadhav. The series will start streaming on Jio Cinema for free on 15th August 2023.
