MUMBAI: As kids, girls loved the concept of seeing themselves draped in beautifully layered gowns of various colours and textures post-watching the various Disney-based movies, stories and series on princesses and queens. To note about it's structure, the materials used in it's creation are mostly chiffons, georgettes, satins, nets, etc. These days, owing to improvement in technology and availability of various materials, mixed fabrics that are washable and crease-free (acrylic, polyester, etc.) are being used to create gowns at cheaper rates.
For the traditional pattern of gown-wearing, it's essential to wear a metal/ wooden corset around the waist.
