MUMBAI: Be it our popular celebs from the showbiz or the sports-field, the service-providing personnels or even the commoners, styling of hair in one way or the other would never run out of fashion for both girls and boys.
With the on-set of the peak summer months, individuals face a hard time struggling to maintain their long tresses due to dampening of the roots for excessive sweating, dandruff and itching-issues, scalp-pimles and irritation, split-end formation, etc; which ultimately lead to excessive hairfall and damaging of hair quantities.
As a result of this, people prefer to chop-off their long tresses, especially during the summer months, which enables them to get a whole-new makeover with short to mid-length hairstyle.
Now, different people undergo different haircut styles and patterns, owing to which they develop interesting locks and fringes along their ears and forehead, which they love to flaunt.
However, this mood doesn't stay consistent, especially in the peak summer months and in the high humidity areas, girls either or not possessing these fancy haircuts, tend to develop rashes and pimples on their skin along the ear's and forehead's hair-line margins, owing to excessive heat and the trapping and collection of sweat in those areas.
To get relieved from this discomfort, girls and ladies resort to various styles of headbands (also called hairbands), to keep their forehead sweat and pimple-free.
Headbands are fancy hair-supportive accessories that comes in various widths, materials (from metal to plastic to elastic-supported cloths), colours, prints, designs (knots/ bows/ embellishments, etc.) and lastly, in different sizes to support a child, adult's and aged's head.
They are mostly both elastic or rigid in nature to tightly adjust along it's endorsers' head.
Focussing on cloth based headbands, these are usually thick printed cloths that are supported by plastic/elastic bands at their base and cover a large part of the scalp from the forehead. These come in various prints, colours, patterns (2D or 3D sequined), etc.
