MUMBAI: Telly fame and diva Ruhi Dilip Singh is an Indian actress, model, former Miss India and a social media influencer. She embarked upon her journey in the world of showbiz by starring in Madhur Bhandarkar's drama film Calendar Girls and has also worked in many television and web series.

Ruhi Singh was born in and hails from Jaipur (Rajasthan) and she completed both her schooling and graduation from there itself. She graduated from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Singh's early dream was to become a successful singer and had a great interest towards the glamour world of modelling and also wanted to pursue the same as her dream career since her childhood days. 

In the year 2011, she joined the modelling industry and participated the same year in Femina Miss India East 2011, which is the preliminary for Femina Miss India contest and was crowned as it's 1st Runner up. The same year she entered Indian Princess 2011 pageant and was chosen to represent India at Miss Model Of The World 2011 contest that was held in China, wherein she was placed amongst the top 36 quarter finalists. Next year, she participated in Femina Miss India and secured her position in the Top 10's list. Later that year, Ruhi represented India at Miss United Nations 2012 that was held at Miami. However, Ruhi achieved her breakthrough success in 2014, when she was handpicked by Femina Miss India as India's representative at the first edition of Miss Universal Peace and Humanity pageant, that was held in Lebanon, wherein she became the first-ever winner after competing against 145 countries across the world. For this victory, Ruhi was trained by fashion experts like Ritu Kumar, Jamuna Pai, Eshaa Amiin, Samir Purohit and Namrata Purohit. 

Ruhi had also worked in a Canadian documentary -The World Before Her. 

Ruhi was named one of the 'Top 25 Most Desirable Women in India' (in 2014), by the Times of India.

Ruhi made her Bollywood debut with Madhur Bhandarkar's 2015 movie Calendar Girls, for which she was immediately signed her in as one of his five leading ladies. The movie was released on 25th September that year and fairly performed at the box office. 

She was later also seen in other Bollywood and South-Indian movies like Ishq Forever (2016), Aakhri Sauda: The Last Deal and Bongu (2017). This year, she featured in the  Telugu movie Mosagallu.

However, Ruhi gained immense fame post featuring in web series like Spotlight 2 (on Viu), Mom and Co., Operation Cobra - opposite Gautam Gulati (on Eros now), Bang Baang (on Alt Balaji) and Chakravyuh (on MX Player). 

She has also done 2 music videos: 'Do Chaar Din' and 'Maangi Duaein'.
