MUMBAI :Vaani Kapoor made her acting debut in Bollywood with the 2013 romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance, a critical and commercial success, which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. After facing criticism for her performances in the Tamil film Aaha Kalyanam and Befikre, Kapoor took a three-year hiatus before playing brief roles of the love interest in the action films War and Bell Bottom. She gained praise for her performance as a transgender woman in the romantic comedy Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The actress looks totally chic in her fancy sweater tops.
