MUMBAI: There was a time when wearing glasses was considered dorky than chic. However, lately we find ourselves reaching out for the quirkiest frames. Euphemistically known as face-furniture, eyewear can be hard to carry on all occasions, especially when you do not want to opt for contact lenses.
There is a notion that women appear intellectually intimidating and irresistible in stunning eyewear and we have Bollywood actresses in the likes of Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shraddha Kapoor and many others who carry this look with élan. In fact, it is not just the spectacles. Actors have time and again surprised us by accessorizing their eye in a quirky wear.
