MUMBAI : K-pop has become a sensation over the time and has become more than just a trend in today’s music landscape. There’s a whole new generation that is growing up listening to K-pop. Definitely the music style has earned a huge number of population as its fans and the credit goes to the uniqueness that it brings to the table with firstly the new language that the non-Koreans get to listen, the vocal exercises practiced in the songs, the multi-genre songs that have a mix of rap and rock, rap and pop, rap and electro and much more.
Korean music has not just influenced people’s music taste but also their fashion taste and the content that they watch. It isn’t simply about merchandise anymore and the fans love to see what their favourite artists are wearing and how they are presenting themselves.
While BTS and BLACKPINK have been the flag-bearer of K-pop taking the genre on a global level, there are other bands who are reaching new heights and representing the genre, bringing it into a new light. One such band is ENHYPEN.
The seven-member group includes Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. The group was formed in 2020 by Hybe Corporation and CJ ENM’s collaboration named BE:LIFT LAB. They came out with a mini album titled BORDER: DAY ONE.
According to the latest updates, the group is on a world tour ‘FATE PLUS’ but unfortunately Jay won’t be able to be a part of their Japan show and it is because of his health complications. After the updates were out, fans of the group were a little disappointed.
Let’s hope Jay gets better and even his fans get to enjoy his performances soon.
