MUMBAI: Saree is considered as one of the national attires of India (for women) and is endorsed almost throughout the country, barring certain corners owing to cultural and climatic preferences.

It's like this near about 9 yards long cloth garment (which is woven out of cotton, silk, jute, polyester threads) and is elaborately draped around the body for it's endorsement. It's traditionally worn by Indian and Bangladeshi women and ladies from all over the world absolutely love to adorn an Indian saree at least once in their lives as no other outfit can ever behold the grace and elegance of this 9 yards cloth garment.

A saree is commonly paired with a blouse and petticoats for creating the complete ensemble. With time, this ensemble has undergone gradual revolutionising; hence, we can see present-day ladies pairing their sarees with crop top patterned blouses or even crop tops (for the ultimate fusion look) In tropical cities, ladies are ditching the long and heavy petticoats with either shorts, jeans or miniskirts, which enables one to walk faster and freely. These tips act like convenient summer hacks.

While it's uniformly worn in the major Indian cities, as we travel into a state's interiors, we get to see so many variations in it's drapery, print and appeal. In these towns or villages, sarees are the only go-to attire option for most ladies. Hence, their drapery pattern is governed by the nature of activities they perform and the skills they apply in their performance on a daily basis (eg. The leg-dividing drapery enables women to work on working sites more efficiently).

However, one classic and trendy saree look that never goes out of fashion and rather enhances it's charm time and again is the black saree trend. Once a woman endorses a regal black saree and walks out of her house, all eyes fix upon her at a stretch. The black colour is inertly addictive and seductive simultaneously and when applied on sarees, they just gotta reflect the 'slayer' vibe in one go, as if no other colour exists in the vicinity.

Without any further ado, scroll down to catch glimpses of telly divas like Shraddha Arya, Divyanka Tripathi, Karishma Tanna, Anita Hassanandini, Surbhi Jyoti, Mouni Roy, Surbhi Chandna and lastly, Aamna Sharif raising the heat by looking like enchantresses in regal black sarees, that too at their elegant best!
