MUMBAI: Kyun Uthe Dul Chhod Aaye is one of the most beloved TV shows of the present day that airs on Colors TV. Set in the pre-partition's timeline's backdrop, the plot of this show focuses on the struggles that were faced by inter-faith and nationality lovers, the various struggles and dilemmas they were subjected to owing to the social expectations back then and the drastic compromises one made for their soulmate to immortalise their love story, despite bearing the pain of separation.

With a heavy storyline, telly actors like Gracy Goswami, Zaan Khan, Aanchal Sahu, Shagun Pandey, Pranali Rathod, Kunal Jaisingh, Geetanjali Tikekar, Yah Tonk, Gurdeep Punj and others have brilliantly pulled off their on-screen character's individual parts in the show, that too in perfect sync with the storyline.

To note, telly actors Gracy Goswami, Zaan Khan, Aanchal Sahu, Shagun Pandey, Pranali Rathod and Kunal Jaisingh play(ed) the show's on-screen pivotal characters of Amrit, Randheer, Vashma, Uday, Radha and Veer. Amrit-Randheer is the lead pair of the show while Uday-Vashma is the subsequent lead. Kunal Jaisingh played Veer, the third-wheeler in Amrit-Randheer's love story and Randheer's estranged brother, who married Amrit forcefully and later, helped the former lovers unite by sacrificing his life.

The show's plot shows the dynamism of the Indian society at large, especially before, during and after the partition phases and the heart-wrenching twists and turns in the show's plot have had a gripping impact on it's viewers and followers.

1. Amrit (Gracy Goswami)

Gracy Goswami plays the very beautiful Amrit on-screen, who is a vibrant girl with strong morale and character. In her spinster days, she was seen donning bright and pretty salwar-patiala sets with floral prints, a sweet pendant, simple bracelets, bangles and earrings and a cute nose pin. The traditional small Indian bindi adds all the charms to her looks and the braiding up of her long tresses added the typical 'punjabi-kudi' vibes. Post marriage, she still maintains her minimal getup with low or no makeup, a vermillion-filled mid-hair-partition and is seen donning a saree and using the open anchal as a veil to cover her head.

2. Vashma (Aanchal Sahu)

[[{"fid":"15976309","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"2":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":669,"width":392,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"2"}}]]

Traditional young Indian girls always loved to don minimal makeup and so did Vashma. She is mainly seen in pastel-coloured salwar suits and retro-styled ruffled sarees with simple pearl jewelleries and ear studs. Initially, she was seen wearing a bunch of sleek gold bangles.

3. Radha (Pranali Rathod)

[[{"fid":"15976319","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"3":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":536,"width":572,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"3"}}]]

Since Radha played the role of a stepmother at a very young age, her regular post-marital looks were a lot heftier than the other two girls. She was seen wearing elaborate ensembles of salwar-shararas with a lot of golden embroideries on them, heavy necklaces and choodas (which entirely covered her arms). She looked totally royal in these ensembles.

4. Ranisa (Geetanjali Tikekar)

[[{"fid":"15976329","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"4":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":404,"width":405,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"4"}}]]

Ranisa dresses up like an absolute queen with a restrictively perfect fashion sense. Her sarees look carefully handpicked, be it in terms of colours, prints and embroideries and she too applies a minimalistic makeup look for imparting the classic royal vibe, while her neck-level blunt cut adds the smartness quotient to her entire look.

5. Kaveri Bua (Gurdeep Punj)

[[{"fid":"15976339","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false},"link_text":null,"type":"media","field_deltas":{"5":{"format":"default","alignment":"","field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]":false,"field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]":false}},"attributes":{"height":880,"width":660,"class":"media-element file-default","data-delta":"5"}}]]

Kaveri Bua, who plays the antagonist, is the only one who's seen donning dark and heavy eye-makeups apart from keeping other things sober like her saree and pulls-off the retro hairstyle of the rose-pinned gracefully while flaunting the carefully curved side
