1. Hrithik Roshan plays a triple role of father Rohit and 2 sons Krishna - Krissh in Krissh 3. Since the two Hrithik roles are the same individual’s two avatars it’s actually a double role. The star-actor started his career as a leading man with a double role in Kaho Na...Pyar Hai. So it’s a full circle for Hrithik. Double roles have always fascinated Rakesh Roshan as a filmmaker. In Kishen Kanhaiya Anil Kapoor played a double role. In Khoon Bhari Maang there were two avatars of Rekha. 2. Hrithik was very keen to play the super-villain Kaal. But Rakesh Roshan felt 4 roles would be one too many. Ajay Devgn was approached to play the super-villain. But Devgn who had earlier turned down Rakesh Roshhan’s Kaynaat (which was later made as Karan Arjun) declined, apparently because he felt he wouldn’t have ample space in the hero’s home production. 3. Vivek Oberoi who plays the super-villain had a streak of bad luck broken by the super-success of Grand Masti. He is not seen promoting the film, apparently because Grand Masti has made him super-sure about himself. 4. Contrary to rumours Priyanka Chopra doesn’t have a double role in Krissh 3. Priyanka plays Priya Mehra the journalist on the prowl. For the actress this film is of paramount importance after the fiasco that was her last film Zanjeer. And yes, her last hit Agneepath was with Hrithik. 5. Kangna Ranaut’s role of the mutant was turned down by Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandes and Chitrangda Singh. Singh had in fact rehearsed and got her look and costumes ready for the role when Kangna stepped in. 6. Krissh 3 was to be partially shot in 3D. However the shrewd prophet of the profit world saw that the 3D format was rapidly losing its charm and quickly decided to stick to the 2D format. 7. The Big B, Amitabh Bachchan has done the voiceover for Krissh 3. The last film for which he did so was Anthony d’Souza’s Boss. 8. Rekha plays Hrithik’s grandmom. So technically Krissh 3 is the Big B and Rekha’s first film together since Silsila. 9. Krissh 3 was to open on 4 November post the Diwali weekend. Under distributors’ protests Rakesh Roshan relented and agreed to release his film on 1 November. 10. Hrithik won’t be back as Krissh for another 4 years. Both father and son Roshan have decided to take a break from the franchise.
