Are you a movie buff?

I am a complete film lover, who loves watching films religiously. But, I would say that currently I have taken a voluntary retirement as I am keeping busy with other works.

What kind of movies you like to watch?

I love action, comedy, romantic- in short any film which is an entertaining watch.

Tell us about your favourite movie scene?

Remember the scene in DDLJ, where SRK continues to say palat to Kajol? I completely love that scene because I think that inside all of us, there is child, who believes that faith can make everything possible. So, I even apply that to my personal life, often pleading for something to happen.

So who are your favourite hero and heroine?

Kajol undoubtedly is my favourite actress of all time as she is so natural and such a power packed performer. On the other hand, list of my favourite actors are really long. I love Amitabh Bachchan for his action and diction, Aamir for his talent, Salman for his aura and big heart, SRK for his charm, after all we all admire him. And last but not the least, Hrithik for his dance style. He is the actual Greek God and it is my wish to learn dancing like him before I die.

What was the last movie you watched?

I have recently watched Katti Batti.

Cinema for you is…

I believe that cinema is nothing but reflection of society. I remember from Javed Akhtar’s writings that how every phase in Bollywood films has been inspired from the contemporary social scenario.

You keep busy as an actor…so how do you prefer watching movies?

•          On the go- internet

•          Movie On demand

•          Rent DVDs

I mostly watch films in my laptop as it is the best way to watch films or television series without any break. And if I can manage some time then I prefer to visit theatres.

Are you aware about Dish TV’s latest Product- DishFlix? It’s the talking point among all movie lovers?

At times I love watching ad films but on the other hand I get irked when I get interrupted at a crucial point of a film with advertisement. Hence, I think this is indeed a cool idea to watch a film without any disturbance.

Check out DishTV’s DishFlix, which is said to be India’s First Home Video System.
