Director Abhinav Shiv Tiwari, who caught attention with his debut feature film Oass, that tackled the issue of human trafficking, is now working on a film that will revolve around a tale of a daughter and father.
“The film is a story about a father who is on a journey to save his daughter in the wilderness of Ladakh. He has got just a few days in the peak of winters when the temperature is minus 30 degrees in the region. It's a man versus nature story," Tiwari said in a statement.

The director further said that the film is also about an ideological tussle between the daughter and father. Though both received their respective education and beliefs from the grandfather, the daughter has absorbed it entirely while the father has turned into a non-believer.
The film is also about the conversations they have. The story revolves around whether the father can save his daughter or not. Whether the daughter can impart that same faith and belief into his father or will the father make her believe that it is all rubbish.
Abhinav is on the lookout for an experienced Korean actor who would play the role of the father (an ethnic tribesman from Ladakh) in the film.
The director hopes to shoot the film in the upcoming winter season in Ladakh.
As a matter of fact, Abhinav had done a first-of-its-kind documentary on the India Navy a few years ago before he undertook to do Oass that was a story of young girl, who lives on Nepal border, ending up in a Delhi brothel after being sold by her aunt.
