Ali Fazal upset as his parents did not watch Bobby Jasoos

Ali Fazal
Ali Fazal is on a career high these days, what with the praises he received for his performance in Bobby Jasoos. Interestingly, while the actor is high on Bobby Jasoos’ success, he is also a tad unhappy! So what's upsetting the actor? Well, there’s no need for any jasoosi here, just prod the actor to reveal his disappointment, and out comes the reply. Ali is upset because while he is getting a lot of applauds from the audiences for Bobby Jasoos, it's his parents who have failed to see his best performance till date and the reason for that is the ongoing season of Ramadan. For the uninitiated, the Muslim community restrains themselves from watching movies during the entire period of Ramadan. In all his previous films, Ali had a limited scope of exposure. But his latest, Bobby Jasoos had him as a surprise package, where despite of sharing space opposite Vidya Balan, he managed to get recognition and praises from the critics. So while the actor’s friends and colleagues could watch the film. His parents, who were very eager to see him opposite Vidya Balan, were the only ones who failed to watch the film on silver screen. We only hope that his parents get to watch his film soon. Who better to get a pat on your back than your own parents! Ali commented on the same saying, "I am super ecstatic with the kind of amazing response I have got for my performance in Bobby Jasoos. My phone hasn't stopped buzzing since the release date. I am thankful to Dia for giving me this great opportunity and also to Vidya for being a great co-star. I am only a tad bit disappointed for my parents and close friends in Lucknow who were excited to see the movie. Since Ramadan is going on they haven't got an opportunity to watch the film. I wish they could have seen the film as the movie celebrates Ramadan and the jashn of life."
