It looks like she has been practicing her batting skills since the quarantine period. During the long break on the sets, she took out some time to relax by playing cricket.
She wrote, ‘It feels so good when nice people do well. @bhatia_ka_account started off with me, he was the 3rd AD looking after props. Dedicated, talented and sincere. 5 years later we are working together on Breathe and he’s now the associate director. The big boss. Playing cricket between long breaks on shoot has been a ritual. Harshit beat me a few times but I also thrashed him a few times.’
Not many people know, but Saiyami was a state-level cricket player and also represented Maharashtra at one point.
Her love for cricket is not hidden. Recently, the actress had also showed her unhappiness when a TV umpire gave a wrong decision in the match between RCB and PBKS in the Indian Premier League 2021. Showing her anger, she hilariously trolled the TV umpire for making such a poor decision. She wrote, 'Sofa so good… (the 3rd umpires this IpL def mustn’t be feeling the same.)'
Saiyami is currently shooting for Breathe: Into The Shadows along with Abhishek Bachchan, Amit Sadh, and Nithiya Menen. The show has 12 episodes and is directed by Mayank Sharma.
