Amitabh Bachchan joins Swachh Bharat campaign, sweeps road

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan picked up a broom and swept the roads of Mumbai as part of PM Narendra Modi's massive cleanliness drive called Swachh Bharat. The superstar actor indulged in the act just before proceeding to shoot for KBC's grand finale on Wednesday. Big B who was nominated to participate in the campaign by industrialist Anil Ambani was seen not just sweeping the road clean but also collecting garbage and dumping it away. Sharing the pictures of the same on Twitter, Big B wrote, "And before the finale .. it was 'Swach Bharat Abhiyaan' .. went on the streets and broomed and collected dirt to clean up the place... The 'Swach Bharat Abhiyaan' .. personalised !! Let every one deserve to be involved." PM Modi's Swachh Bharat campaign which was initiated nationwide on 2 October has received a roaring response from Bollywood with the who's who of the industry including Salman Khan participating in the cleanliness drive.
