Angry Anurag Kashyap deletes his Twitter account in protest of The Lunchbox’s "no" Oscar entry

Oscar is the opium of Bollywood filmmakers. An Indian would give his right arm to take a shot at the Academy Awards. It's therefore not surprising to see the producers of The Lunchbox vent their frustration and disappointment at having lost out to Gujarati film The Good Road. While Karan Johar expressed his disappointment, another co-producer of this movie, Anurag Kashyap took his protest to a different level by deleting his Twitter account. But before he did that Anurag made sure to give the selection committee a piece of his mind for not choosing The Lunchbox as India's official entry to the Oscars. "I dont know who the federation is but it goes to show, why we completely lack the understanding to make films that can travel across borders," tweeted Anurag before deleting his account. Now, that's like being a sore loser, Anurag. Makes one wonder when the Great Indian rat race to win an Oscar will end.
