The cricketer and his wife and actress Anushka attended the event at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. The Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium is getting renamed after the former finance minister, Arun Jaitley, and one of the stands is being named after Virat Kohli. Several pictures and videos of Virat and Anushka have hit the Internet. During the event, DDCA President Rajat Sharma recalled an incident that got both Anushka and Virat emotional. He mentioned that back when Virat was in the under-19 team and Jaitley had visited Virat’s home in Uttam Nagar, Delhi after his father’s demise. Despite of his father’s demise, Virat continued with the match and Jaitley had predicted that he would one day be a big name. At the mention of Virat’s late father, both Anushka and Virat got emotional and were trying to hold back tears.
