‘Everyone creates the thing they dread,’ a voice booms in the background of the newly released trailer of Avengers: Age of Ultron. As you might have guessed, The Avengers are now back in battle against a foe more powerful than Thor’s evil brother Loki who caused much trouble for ‘The Avengers’ in the first installment.
The super heroes of America have a much tougher task on hands this time around as part two will see them battling Ultron, a robot created by Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) to help secure peace after SHIELD is destroyed and the Avengers temporarily disband. Unfortunately, Ultron takes on evil tendencies (we don’t know why) and it’s up to The Avengers to save the earth from the vandalism unleashed by this Frankenstein monster.
The heroes can also be seen turning against each other, as the trailer suggests, a feat perhaps achieved by the evil Ultron. Snap shots of The Thor grabbing Tony Stark by his neck and final images of the uncontrollable Hulk being mashed to a pulp by Iron Man make for captivating visuals.
The trailer also sees the presence of a bearded man bearing marked resemblance to Wolverine of X-MEN. His identity still remains a mystery though speculations are rife that he could be the villain named Ulysses Klaw. We will have to wait for that one.
Apart from the usual starcast, the new Avengers also include two new Avengers: Quicksilver, the lightning fast son of Magneto and his twin sister the Scarlet Witch.
If the new trailer is anything to go by, one can be rest assured to see more action packed VFX enriched stunts this time as well. But we guess it will be the different storyline that will emerge as the winner this time around. More on that after May 1st when the film will release world over. Avengers: Age of Ultron is written and directed by Joss Whedon.
