Ayushmann Khurrana's 'car'nama

Ayushmann Khurana
Youth icon Ayushmann Khurana was recently signed up by automobile giant Nissan Motor Company as the celebrity brand ambassador for their cost-effective luxury car, Datsun. The actor who owns quite a few cars himself however is elated and upbeat about representing and promoting Datsun which he sees as a new car for new comers. Says Ayushman, "Datsun represents me that is the young aspiring middle class youth. Anybody who is looking to make a giant leap from a bike to a car, Datsun should be a very good buy. It's a new car for new guys." Datsun among the many features that it offers also comes with a spacious full front that can accommodate two adults and one child easily in front, a fact that Ayushmann himself points out. The Vicky Donor star who has been a Roadie himself is a self-confessed car lover and takes his car out for a spin whenever time allows. "I love driving. I am a traveler. Whenever I go to Chandigarh, I drive on my own. I also used to go out on weekends to Shimla and Kasauli and have driven a lot from Delhi to Chandigarh and also from Pune to Mumbai which is the best drive ever," shares Ayushmann. From a Roadie to becoming a popular actor today, Ayushmann certainly has come a long way. However shifting base to Mumbai has only made him miss the long drives with his wife that he used to indulge in while he was in Chandigarh. "I hardly get time to get time to take my wife out. When I was in Chandigarh, I used to go on small drives. Now I go alone on drives and keep myself occupied by listening to world music. I never listen to my own music because I feel you can't grow if you are self-obsessed." And for those who loves living in the fast lane, Ayushmann has a message. " Drive slowly because it safe. Don't try racing. Also one can only enjoy music if you are drive at a leisurely pace," says the actor before signing off. We agree Ayushmann.
