Dark days have started clouding around comedian Kapil Sharma's career, it seems. After his uncharacteristic and ugly fight with on Twitter the verbal diarrhoea afflicted Kamaal R Khan which dominated news space for the last 48 hours, Kapil is back in news again for losing out on YRF's Bank-Chor which was supposed to be his debut Bollywood venture.
In a sudden and shocking development, Yash Raj Films (YRF) and Kapil Sharma decided to part ways mutually. A release sent out by YRF, reads that Y Films’ Bank-Chor will now go on floor without him.
Speaking on the issue, Ashish Patil, Business & Creative Head, Youth Films, Talent Management & Brand Partnerships at Yash Raj Films said, “We will look forward to working together in future when the time is right.”
Bank-Chor is a comic-caper, that tells the story of 3 morons trying to rob a bank who pick the worst day possible when everything that can go wrong, goes wrong and how they’re inadvertently caught in the crossfire of cops, industrialists and corrupt netas. “Bank-Chor is directed by Bumpy and produced by Ashish Patil.
With Kapil out of the film, it remains to be seen who YRF will sign on next. As for now, it seems acche din are yet to arrive for Kapil. Wonder what Kamaal R Khan has to say about this exit. Wonder if the fight that he had with Kapil is one of the reasons which caused Kapil's unceremonious exit.
