MUMBAI: Kartik Aaryan's eagerly awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be set for release in theatres this Diwali. After over 75 days of filming, the makers of the movie declared on Thursday night that it was wrapped. Kartik and his director Anees Bazmee were spotted celebrating the last schedule wrap with their team members by cutting a large cake on the last day of filming.
Kartik posted the video to his Instagram account and stated, “Arey pagalo…‘Its a Wrap for #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 Haveli ka darwaza ek baar phir khulne ke liye taiyaar ho chuka hai See you This Diwali ”
In addition to Kartik, the ensemble has talented actors Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in important roles, and Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri in key roles. The crew has been working nonstop on complex studio sets and actual locations for the past four months since filming started in March of this year. August 2 marked the completion of production, bringing this huge endeavour one step closer to dazzling audiences across the country.
A source close to the production house, earlier shared with the popular news portal that Kartik Aaryan, Anees Bazmee, Bhushan Kumar, and the team are also working on an exclusive teaser cut for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
“A teaser keeping the Diwali period in mind is in the works and the makers are trying to get the cut ready by the middle of August. Once the cut is locked with VFX output, they will decide on the date of launch. The intent is to bring it as soon as possible, and create hype for the content as the team is confident to entertain the audience during the festive season of Diwali. The idea of this teaser is to mark the Diwali 2024 release date in the mind of audiences,” the source shared.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is expected to do well at the box office and is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The Bhushan Kumar-led team is confident in the film's soundtrack, which goes beyond its captivating storyline. They have created an album full of memorable and appealing songs. The album includes the much awaited song "Ami Je Tomar," which accentuates the passionate face-off between Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, as well as a reworked title tune with Kartik Aaryan.
After wrapping shooting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan is getting ready to begin filming the Mudassar Aziz-directed follow-up to Pati Patni Aur Woh. With consecutive comedic performances, the actor is ready to step back into his element and establish himself as a leading man in the genre.
