As the tension and the consequences between both the countries continue and with of MNS banning Pakistani artistes in India, distributors in the neighbouring nation have refused to release the much awaited biopic of the Indian cricket super star Dhoni.
According to the reports from a tabloid, a Pakistan-based distribution company, IMGC Global Entertainment, was supposed to release the film. But the chairman of the respective firm quoted that, “Amid current tension between the two countries, we have decided not to release the film (M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story).”
Maharashtra based MNS had threatened Pakistani artistes Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and others to leave India within 48 hours, owing to the Uri attack. The protesters had also raised their voice opposing the views which Karan Johar had recently mentioned. The question remains if there will be issues during the promotion of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which stars Fawad and Raees which stars Mahira.
